Over the last few days I've been working on my "burning questions" for my upcoming FireStarter Session.  Thing number one … All that pondering lead me back to this Marianne Williamson excerpt.  I had this in one of my first posts, almost exactly one year ago, and it still resonates very deeply.

Powerful words from A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant,
gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously
give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others."

The reality is, I do know that I am "powerful beyond measure" and it scares the hell out of me.  I'm very much looking forward to gaining some level of comfort with this concept.

Channeling, focusing, manifesting.

Thing number two … I'm quite pleased with my answer for one of the questions:

"How would you like to be seen, recognized, acknowledged, awarded, praised?"

I would like to be seen as an innovative, stylish designer/creator/maker, that is grounded, heart centered and uncompromisingly authentic; edgy but accessible.

I like that very much.
