The perfect summer beverage.

Chop up a bunch of fresh ginger, pour boiling water over and let it steep overnight.  Drain off the liquid.  I added a squirt of maple syrup and put in the fridge.  This was my first batch and I got the ginger kind of strong – just added more water.  Mint is delicious, but alas – no got.  A friend had this at her dinner party the other night –  something she had in Hawaii last year – and I plan on keeping in the fridge for the rest of the summer.
